All adult volunteers (persons 18 years old and older) must successfully complete the Child Protection Policy compliance process.
To do this the adult volunteer must:
- Create an account on VIRTUS.org and register for a Child Protection Training workshop
- Submit a Volunteer Application to one of the compliance coordinators
- Attend a Child Protection Training Workshop - submit a copy of the Attendance Certificate from the workshop and the signed
Acknowledgement Page from the Child Protection Policy to the coordinator - Be fingerprinted at an Archdiocesan site. The volunteer must bring a Criminal Background Investigation Authorization form available from a compliance coordinator along with $38.50 fee and a PHOTO ID to the fingerprinting site. Submit the fingerprinting receipt to the coordinator
