Grandparents Day

Date/Time: Monday, May 14, 2012  - 9:30am-11:30am
Location:  Church, Caufield Hall and School Classrooms
Chair: Catherine Edwards and Katy Linder

We cordially invite Grandparents to our annual Grandparents’ Day celebration to attend 9:30 Mass and visit their grandchildren’s classrooms.

Allow plenty of time for parking and meet the school in the church for Mass. The students will already be seated, arranged alphabetically in the pews, and our teachers will help the grandparents find their grandchildren before mass begins.

The Mass will be followed by a reception downstairs in Caulfield Hall. After refreshments, the 8th grade students will escort grandparents to the school to visit their grandchildren in their classrooms.

At the reception, Grandparents can surprise their grandchildren and purchase a new book for the school library, which they can personally dedicate with their grandchild’s name. You can purchase using cash or check at the book sales table.

*********  Parents should send an email to their children’s homeroom teachers to let them know if they will have grandparents visiting by Friday, May 11. Please include the number of guests visiting.

"What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life. And, most importantly, cookies."  ~Rudolph Giuliani
