"Each school in the Archdiocese of Washington shall develop a calendar that includes a minimum of 979 hours of instructional time devoted to the required subject areas. Thus, 1650 minutes per week will be devoted to instruction in the required subject areas. In addition, the calendar shall include 55 hours devoted to staff development..."

The above calendar has been based on this policy. The adjustment in the schedule accommodates the minimum curriculm hours as well as the the required staff development hours.

The school doors will open at 7:45AM and announcements will begin at 8:05AM. Prayers and Religion will begin at 8:10AM. Children who arrive after announcements begin will be considered tardy. The school day will end at 2:50PM and dismissal will be at 3:00PM. Friday dismissal is 12:30PM. Friday afternoon is designated for staff development.

We follow Montgomery County Public Schools foe emergency delays and closings.

Morning Care opens at 7:00AM and closes at 5:30PM. If there is an emergency closing announced by Montgomery County, the Extended Day program will not be open. If there is a late opening because of weather, there will be no Morning Care.
