Rules for Making Your Games
- Parents of students should act as advisors only.
- If you are in grades 1- 3, your parents may help you with organizing your ideas, putting the games together, and helping with the printing.
- Parents please do not make the games for your child. Remember it is their game not yours.
- Do not copy trademarked or copyrighted games. Your game may be similar but it must have your own adaptations.
- Always remember that simple is better.
- Games teach Math Facts, Operations and or Math Concepts.
- If the game is easy to understand and the board is not cluttered, it will be more fun to play.
- Write clear, concise directions.
- If you can easily tell other classmates how to play after reading the directions, and they know what to do, then the directions were concisely written.
- Use your Spell Check when printing any Directions, Question Cards, or your Answer Sheet.
- Original Drawings should be neatly done.
- You may also use clip art for designing your Math Game, Board Design and or Question Cards.
