Pre-K Room 2 Mrs. Gaenzler and Ms. Williams

 Welcome to Pre-K 2!

Mrs. Gaenzler & Ms. Williams

Where has the time gone! The weather is still hot but the leaves are changing colors and we are now into our second month of school.  September brought new friends, new routines and a lot of changes. Pre-K has settled down nicely into our everyday process. We spent the month learning letters A-D and numbers 1-5.  Every day we are working on these sounds and counting while still focusing on our fine motor skills with cutting and writing. Please remember to continue working on these skills at home with your child.

October is about to bring tons and tons of fun for Pre-K.  We will continue with our letters and numbers within our academics. The childern will attend their first field trip to Butler's Orchard and our first class party.  Halloween is approaching and we will have our class party on the 31st.  At this time, the children can wear their costumes to school and trick or treat around the school.  We will also have our school wide HSA Halloween party in which all are invited.  Enjoy October!

We have many opportunities for your child to share their lives with us along with their special items from trips, birthdays and more and for you to be part of their classroom fun. Please make sure that you are Virtus Certified right away so you may partake in these activities.

** Scholastic Book Orders**

We participate in monthly scholastic book orders.  You will receive a flyer each month. These books are great gifts or rewards for your child. You may order online or by filling out the form and returning it to us.  IF YOU ORDER ONLINE YOU MUST ENTER IN OUR CODE.
