Pre-K Room 2 Mrs. Gaenzler and Ms. Williams

 Welcome to Pre-K 2!

Mrs. Gaenzler & Ms. Williams

Welcome Back! It is hard to believe that summer is over and we are focusing on school supplies, uniforms and going to bed early. We are very excited to begin a new year with your children and create new memories. Pre-k will explore many new adventures academically, spiritually and playfully.

The first few months of school we will spend time getting to know each other while making friends and beginning our academics. Each week we will focus on a new letter, its sound and formation and a number. Our daily activities will incorporate these letters and numbers.

We have many opportunities for your child to share their lives with us along with their special items from trips, birthdays and more and for you to be part of their classroom fun. Please make sure that you are VIrtus Certified right away so you may partake in these activities.

  Friendly Reminders:

-Each day your child needs a snack and lunch (PLEASE make sure you send in a trash bag in your child's lunch as they do have to bring home their trash each day)

 - Please make sure you send in small items for your child during naptime

- Please send in a note as to where your child will be going after school, extended day or carpool

Here are the guidelines for when your child becomes sick:

-Children have to be without a fever for 24 hours without Tylenol &/or Ibuprofen before returning to school.

-Children have to stay home for at least 24 hours after final episode of vomiting.

-If you ever have a sick child, please let Kathy Hayzlett, school nurse, know
