Baby it's cold outside !!

Week of Jan. 15- 19th

Happy New Year!! We have had some issues with our website but it seems that it is finally up and running.   Our word of the month is Grateful! We have been discussing all the different things we should be thankful for.  The children list every morning all things that are important to them. This week we will be learning about the letter "O"! There will be olympics , owls, octopus and we could never forget about Olaf!  We will also discuss Martin Luther King Jr.  The children will list how to be a peace maker and how breaking the peace causes so much sadness.

We will continue to implement our fun weekly project called "Time to Tell Letter Bag". This is where you and your child will find an object that starts with the letter we are learning about that week and place it in the bag to discuss in class.  The letter bag will be provided for you each Friday in the Red Folder with instructions.

A friendly reminder to please remember to pack a trash bag for your child everyday for snack/lunch.  Also please send in a note on whether your child will be in car line or Extended Day.  Its very important for us to make sure everyone is where they are supposed to be each day.  Thank you for your understanding.
